BREAKOUT SESSIONS

1. Creating Value-based Performance Affecting Lessons Learned

(Whitney/Stuewe) – 8–10:15 am, Room 305
This session will focus on development of value-based, performance affecting lessons learned and how we can promote the development of them throughout the OE community. There will be a general discussion by the participants of the different perspectives that they have about how they determine value and applicability of lessons learned for their organizations. Previously developed lessons learned will be selected and evaluated to determine overall value to the OE community. We will use the “Attributes of a Good Lessons Learned”, created by the OEC Task Team last year and DOE submittal criteria, to rate the lessons, summarize what the attributes of the highest rated lessons are, and develop recommendations for how to create value-based lessons across the programs.

2. Order 210.2 Rewrite (Stuewe) – 10:30 – Noon, Room 222; 1:00 – 5 pm, Room 222

With the participants, review DOE O210.2 initial proposed changes. Identify and document additional changes in support of the DOE Safety and Security Directives Reform effort.
